Duma was born in Lisbon, lives in 1973 and functions in Oeiras, Portugal. She studied advertising in IADE (Visual Arts, Style & amp Marketig Institute) and also painting and drawing at the National Society of Fine Arts, studied in Lisbon.
"The female figure is anything organic in my operate, it is like a piece of me represented in every single canvas. I like just a tiny bit to show the full scene for the viewer. I like space of is to leave the viewer imagination. In every frame an unlimited universe there of actions, thoughts and feelings, every character shows us a small of his character, it is like a nonetheless from a film or camera getting a moment.
I was often very attracted to represent the human figure, specifically portraits. Nonetheless, I want to convey the type of portrait, is not by any individual in distinct, I do not want to create a distinct identity, I just want represent a basic feeling of femininity.
by taking away my eyes, I surrounded the character in secret, so it abstract, the viewer will force a story in order to generate it. This is complemented by the framing I select and a simple and clear background. Anybody can the viewer's imagination to use and offers a special and person knowledge of painting. "
