Michael Hughes, who performs as a freelance photographer in Germany, a series of optical illusions generated in the tacky souvenir replicas of well-known landmarks are placed next to the river in front of reality.
Michael has found the technique in 1998, back when he held up a postcard he purchased for his daughter at the Lorelei Rhine Cliffs on the tourist platform.
In August 2008, Michael has been featured in National Geographic. Souvenirs goes from strength to strength, with France, Egypt and the UK supply some nice images.
